Summary: Sandra Francy, a 17-year-old girl who likes to have fun and there’s no purpose to do anything right, she made a point where she thinks its right what she does, but its all the opposite, she hangs out with people and drink, have sex, and break hearts instantly, but then, one day she slaps a guy defending herself from a drunk person named Terry, who mysteriously have the ability to transform people into dogs when he’s really mad about something, and Sandra does it, and now she’s a 2-year-old Labrador that is now confused why everything got so big around her.

My Questions:

1. Was it right for Sandra to make a point for everything she did in her life was right (to herself) (to get drunk; break hearts, to have sex)?

2. Was it wrong of Terry, to transform Sandra into a dog?

My Response:

1.    I don’t think its right for a person to do that, she had nicest friends, and all she ever did was to think about her own, nobody mattered not even herself.

2.    I don’t think it was the nicest thing to do to a person even if that person deserves it, I think it was wrong of Terry to do that.

Summary: Josh feels better after losing to the game against a Texas team of baseball, he now realizes his big mistakes and blames himself, but now he’s back to the way he is now, and finally got over with his nightmare, now he can’t decide whether to follow his dreams or not, but Rachel (Josh’s girlfriend) helps him realize that he can follow his dreams no matter what that it has to do with his own decisions, and that she wont accept him if he starts to follow a path he doesn’t like.

My Questions:

1. Is it right for Zik, to get mad at josh because he lost the game and because he’s not going to the same college he’ll go?

2. Was it wrong for Rachel to tell him that she won’t accept him as her boyfriend if he doesn’t follow his own path?

My Response:

1.    No, Zik has to accept other’s opinions, because josh didn’t tell him anything about what he wanted and followed Zik’s opinions

2.    No, because she’s encouraging him to follow his dreams, and not let his feelings over her to stop his own path

Summary: Josh is dealing with himself trying to fight himself, and trying his best to be a better person to his friends, girlfriend, parents, and himself, but he still afraid of his teacher that she might come back and hunt him, but he’s all wrong, he tells everything that happen to him to Rachel (his girlfriend) and she tries to reach him, and hoping Josh will change someday, and he’s trying his best, but he thinks that everyone doesn’t like him and everyone expects him to do everything for them, and he’s thinks that he hasn’t thought of himself and his needs, that he wasn’t doing what he wanted and been doing what other expect him to do.

My Questions:

1. Is it right for josh to do what other people expect him to do, do other people control his life?

2. Was it right for Zik (Josh’s best friend) to expect that josh would go the same way he would, to play baseball and nothing else?

My Response:

1.    No, Josh have the right to think of himself too, not just for everyone, he has his own decisions and have to follow them

2.    no, because even if people are friends, they don’t know each other’s opinions, about their future and their life

Quote “Don’t be afraid, and go ahead!”, “You don’t have to go to college park because of me, do make me have all the guilt Josh”, “no one owns you  Josh, you can do what you like to do in your future, it doesn’t matter if were apart”, “he doesn’t own me, even if I cant go to Stanford, I’m not letting him get all the glory” (Page 203, 234, 245, 289 and 310) This time is about what josh have to do, if follow others their steps, or follow his, he’s troubled, but he now realized that he can accomplish his own dreams, and not letting anyone else to take over him, that, he can do better in his life and stop thinking that everyone hates him, but now he doubts that people doesn’t hate him now, because he lose against a Texas team, but he knew he might have won, because all he had to do is swing, but he didn’t.

Summary: is about a boy named josh, living a normal 12-year-old life, when his new teacher Evelyn Sherman, makes him do things beyond adult people do, (she’s a molester somehow), Josh is fine with it, but he gets scared, because his parents are getting suspicious that he spends a lot of time in Mrs. Sherman’s apartment, and how she getting obsessed with josh.

My Questions:

1. Did josh actually felt that what he was doing, was wrong?

2. Is Mrs. Sherman knows that what she’s doing with Josh, is wrong?

My Response:

1.    Yes, Josh doesn’t know how to react to this kind of situation, so he pretty much obey Mrs. Sherman, because he thinks that what he is doing , is right, but he felt guilty about it.

2.    Yes, she aware that she might lose her job and go to jail because of what she’s doing with Josh.

Quote “Are you ok?”, “Are you fine with what were doing?” I couldn’t think of anything, I was nervous and surprised at the same time. “Yes” (Page 176, 188 and 189) Josh’s third visit was a new experience for him, he really doesn’t know what’s right and wrong at that moment when he’s with Mrs. Sherman, so he pretty much do what she Sais to him.

Summary: is about a boy who remembers about that time when he was with his grandfather’s dog, Elizabeth, about how he loved and teased that Doberman dog, and how in the end, Elizabeth attacked Jonah.

My Questions:

1. Did Jonah tease the dog so much because he loved her?

2. Did the dog attacked Jonah because he was she thought he was mean to her?

My Response:

1.    Jonah liked to tease the dog because he loved her, (yes)

2.    The dog must have misunderstood Jonah because it was all an accident that the dog felt being attacked by Jonah. (yes)

Quote “I see the carnival came through here last night, they left an elephant. Do you see it?”(Page 14) later in time Jonah understood his grandfather, he was the elephant and understood that there was actually a figure of an elephant in the train tracks.

The purpose of this myth was to tell you “you get what you work out or what you deserve”. If I were in Sisyphus I would have not do what he did and accept death as it is., and probably I wouldn’t be stuck in a situation like that. I think the meaning of the myth is about that a person is responsible for their own actions and has to deal with the consequences of his/her acts.

If i would be a different person i could possibly act differently, but im sure people have many personalities to choose from, because it is the person who chooses who you are, not other people , i do believe that theres life after death its more like an incarnation, because every life form is like a battery like our soul is a mass of energy that is inside of physical mass, when a battery is dead it has no soul, no electricity, no energy.

People would also possibly act differently, or probably would with a reason why would they do it, but they would probably change their personality due to time.

I agree with sophie that “you can’t experience being alive without realizing that you have to die” because you never know when are you going to die, it is better experience good stuff, and maybe some of the good stuff.

The world for me its just a planet, with trillions of years old, i know that cause its obvious that there been other dominant species before humans did, like dinosaurs for example, then humans became the dominant and destructive of life lifeforms.

I don’t think its really important to know really how the world was made because the most important thing in life is live.

“have always existed” and “have a beginning”, both of them are true statements, everything always existed because they  have always had a beginning and an end so others could replace them.
